Set in the heart of the Marais, the Cognacq-Jay museul is home to the art collection of the founder of La Samaritaine department stores.
The museum boasts a rich collection of paintings and sculptures by eighteenth-century masters, along with furniture and other decorative items of exceptional rarity.
The Hôtel Donon, which houses the museum, is a magnificent example of 18th-century upper-class Parisian architecture, an eloquent witness to the refinement of high society in this era. The museum has a number of spaces which are perfectly suited to hosting special events, offering an intimate, elegant setting for your gathering.
